Ms. Andrea Aguirre Salazar joined Sungate Design Group in 2025. She has completed hydraulic designs for numerous NCDOT roadway and bridge replacement projects, including roadside ditch, drainage network, and cross pipe design. Andrea has also performed hydraulic modeling with HEC RAS to evaluate bridge impacts to streams within and outside FEMA regulated study areas. In addition, she has developed erosion and sediment control plans for various NCDOT projects, ensuring environmental compliance and constructability.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys hiking, running, reading, and sewing.
