FEMA Flood Studies and Certifications

Sungate provides FEMA‑compliant flood studies and certifications for NCDOT, municipal, and private development projects located within regulated floodplains. Services include CLOMRs, LOMRs, No‑Rise Certifications, and detailed floodplain analyses prepared in accordance with FEMA guidelines, NCDOT requirements, and local flood damage prevention ordinances. Hydraulic (1D & 2D) and Hydrologic Modeling

Sungate performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses across the state for NCDOT and local governments. Sungate’s professional engineers have extensive experience with HEC-2 and HEC-RAS backwater modeling software, as well as HEC-HMS and HydroCAD hydrologic modeling software.
