NCDOT Design Build Projects
Sungate is committed to the Design-Build process and realizes the importance of this alternative system of project delivery. By teaming with a Contractor and Prime Roadway firm, projects can be effectively evaluated and value engineered to provide the best possible product for the tax payers. Sungate has been a part of five teams awarded Design-Build projects and has been short listed on all but two DB projects advertised. NCDOT Divided Highway/Expressway/Interstate Projects
Sungate has completed designs for multiple large highway, expressway, and interstate projects. Project scopes have included (but not limited to) hydraulic design, bridge and culvert design, CLOMR's, hazardous spill basin design, Stormwater Management Plans, natural stream designs, and environmental permits.
