PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
As an EIT for Sungate Design Group, Mr. Elam has been involved in the hydraulic design of storm drainage systems, bridges and culverts from start to finish. As an intern, Mr. Elam gained surveying experience and the computer skills necessary to design hydraulic drainage systems. This includes interpreting and managing survey data, set up and editing of bridge and culvert survey reports, and generating drainage files. He also has experience in erosion control and natural stream design. Mr. Elam has been involved in several design build projects here in North Carolina and has experience in generating the necessary plans and documentation for submittal. He also has experience in preparing numerous environmental permits.
